Dental Bridges:

Dental bridges are a method of replacing missing teeth by using existing teeth as a foundation. Bridges can be made of materials such as gold, metal, alloys, or porcelain to ensure strength and durability. The process of creating a dental bridge includes creating abutments from existing teeth, taking a mold of the area, and using the mold to create a custom-fit permanent bridge. A temporary bridge is placed while we finish creating the permanent bridge, this way, we have the time to create the perfect bridge for your mouth. The bridge may take a little while to get used to, but after a few days it should feel like you have your own teeth again.

Crowns:

Crowns are used to restore the appearance and function of teeth that have become weakened or damaged by decay, cracks, discoloration, and other issues. Crowns can be made from porcelain, porcelain fused to metal, or gold. The porcelain crowns are best for maintaining a natural look and feel, as they can be matched to the shade of the patient's other teeth. Installing a crown takes 2-3 visits to the dentist, during which the tooth will be reshaped, a mold will be taken, and a temporary crown will be placed until the permanent crown is ready. Inlays and Onlays:

Inlays and onlays, also known as partial crowns, use the existing tooth as a base to fit the inlay or onlay onto the tooth. This strengthens the tooth, restores its shape, and prevents further damage. This procedure involves removing the decayed area of the tooth, taking a mold and creating a restoration made from porcelain, gold or composite resin. The restoration takes 2-3 weeks to make, and a temporary inlay or onlay will be placed on the tooth for that time. Once completed, the tooth will look natural and it will not be visible that it is a restoration.

Lumineers:

Lumineers are a very thinly shaped type of porcelain that are bonded to your tooth. They require 1-2 visits and offer little to no discomfort due to the minimal preparation that is required. Lumineers can be a quick fix for covering stained, discolored, or damaged teeth.

Whitening and Bleaching:

Keeping our teeth their whitest is a lot harder than it sounds. Teeth whitening is a great way to restore the natural color of your teeth or even make them whiter than your natural color.

To whiten teeth, we primarily utilize Zoom, but also use a tray whitening system when deemed appropriate. For Zoom, the procedure typically takes less than an hour, which includes preparation of the mouth by covering the lips and gums, leaving the teeth exposed. Next, our team applies the Zoom hydrogen peroxide gel which remains in place for while the light is activated. Afterwards, a sensitivity reducing gel is applied to the teeth.

The whitening system is completed in 2 steps. The first step, make an impression of your teeth. Using this impression, we'll craft your custom whitening trays that you can use over and over. Step two, take the whitening gel and put the gel on your teeth for a brief period of time over the course of a few days, leaving patients with a whiter smile than ever before!

Veneers:

To remodel and restructure your entire mouth, veneers are proven to be a great option. Veneers are a very thin ceramic shell that is placed over your natural tooth structure. They can be used to treat a variety of cosmetic concerns, including discoloration, cracks, gaps, misaligned teeth, chipped teeth, and many others. They are installed over the course of two to three appointments, with the first visit serving as a discussion and planning session for the new veneers' shape and appearance. The next step is to prepare the teeth and make an impression. The veneers take roughly 10 to 14 days to finish; during this period, a temporary remedy will be offered. Once completed, the veneers will be bonded and glued into place for a durable, natural-looking smile.

Crown Lengthening:

Crown lengthening is a routine surgical procedure that remodels the contour of the gum line to expose more of the tooth structure. The procedure is typically done when there is not enough tooth structure to affix a crown or when a tooth has been broken below the gum line. By lowering the gum line, more of the tooth is exposed and a restoration can be placed on the tooth. It is important to recognize that crown lengthening does not actually lengthen the crown, but rather exposes more of the tooth structure.
